The Portland Chapter of WP&BC invites you to our January New Year Social and Wine Tasting Event to kick-off the New Year! We are excited to have Mary Alfieri Studt from Wine Dirt Tours provide us with great insights to the art of wine tasting.

Sip on champagne while discovering the art of winemaking at the essence/sensory station and aerator/decanting station. Enjoy cheese, crackers and gourmet pairings, including:

• Pineapple shrimp ceviche paired with Pinot Gris
  
• Roasted mushroom, herb and goat cheese flatbread paired with Pino Noir
  
• Apple compote and brie paired with Chardonnay
  
• Cabernet Sauvigon marinated beef skewers paired with Cabernet  
  

Event host Mary Alfieri Studt received an enology degree — the study of wines — from Fresno State University. She has worked in some of the largest wineries in the world, and has more than 15 years experience researching the development of new grapes and wines.

This will be another great New Year’s kick-off event for our Portland Chapter and we look forward to seeing you there!
